Poshmark vs Vinted (2026): which is better for resellers?

Short answer:

• Choose Poshmark if this sounds like you: Clothing, shoes and accessories.
• Choose Vinted if this sounds like you: Clothing sellers who want zero seller fees.

Poshmark overview

Poshmark is a social marketplace for fashion. Sellers share listings to drive visibility and the buyer pays a flat prepaid shipping label. Fees are simple but high, so price accordingly.

Vinted overview

Vinted charges buyers rather than sellers, so sellers keep the full price. It is huge in Europe and growing in the US, mainly for clothing and accessories.

How to decide

Every marketplace has a different buyer, fee structure and category strength. Furniture sells locally, sneakers go to authentication platforms, vintage clothing to Depop and Poshmark, and almost everything sells on eBay. Most full-time resellers list on 3 to 5 platforms and use a crosslister to keep inventory in sync. Fees change often, so always verify the current fee page before pricing. The deciding factors usually come down to each tool's standout strength (for Poshmark: simple prepaid shipping; for Vinted: no seller fees) weighed against its main drawback (high percentage fee versus buyers expect low prices).
